About Us:

The Photography Club at Lendi is a creative collective dedicated to photography enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned photographers. Our club offers extensive learning, practice, and exposure opportunities to cultivate your passion for photography.

Our Vision:

To empower students through visual storytelling, enabling them to explore, capture, and communicate powerful narratives through the art of photography.

The Student Cultural Activitis is a manifested student initiative. Its main purpose is to serve the students of Lendi at Vizianagarm, support a diverse array of student interests and provide additional and alternative options for activity, event, meeting, dining and outdoor gathering spaces. As it was originally intended, environment friendly elements were used in the activity. The Student Activity Center serves its community in a variety of ways. The activities works under the supervision of the Principal along with Students Activities Coordinating Committee for encouraging the students to participate and exhibit the talent in co-curricular, extra co-curricular and other student activities in the college and outside campus.

The Lendi Cultural  Club (LCC) is established to cultivate and promote artistic and cultural expression among students while fostering teamwork, creativity, and leadership. The club will function under the guidance of the Student Activity Center (SAC) and will serve as a dynamic platform for organizing diverse cultural events throughout the academic year. LCC aims to provide opportunities for students to explore, enhance, and showcase their talents across various cultural domains.

● President –   Overall in charge of the club and responsible for decision-making.

● Vice President –  Assists the President and leads in their absence.

● Secretary –  Coordinates events, manages schedules, and handles communication.

● Treasurer –  Manages the club's funds, collects subscriptions, and prepares financial reports.

● Event Coordinators –   Lead different cultural domains like music, dance, drama, literature, fine arts, and photography.

● Faculty Advisor – Guides and supports the club activities.

Membership & Subscription :

● Eligibility: Open to all students and faculty members.

● Registration: Interested members need to fill out an application form

● Subscription Charges:

   ○ Regular Membership: ₹200 per semester (includes participation in all events)

   ○ Premium Membership: ₹500 per semester (includes event priority and special workshops)

 Treasurer’s Role & Responsibilities:

● Maintain accurate financial records and transactions.

● Allocate budgets for various events and activities.

● Ensure transparency and accountability in fund usage.

Advances in technology have given people more ways to access an increasing amount of information. Local and international news can be read in the newspaper, listened to on the radio, watched on television and found on cell phones or online. A wealth of information is always available for those with access to these options. In countries where free expression is suppressed, access to technology is expensive or illiteracy rates are high, radio plays a vital role in information sharing.

The Lendi Radio Club aims to:

MEMBERSHIP PROCESS & SUBSCRIPTIONS CHARGES

Who Can Join?

Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in broadcasting, content creation, or technical aspects of radio production.

How to Join?

1. Application Form: Students fill out an online/offline form with their details and area of interest.
2. Selection Process: Shortlisting is based on a brief audition (for RJs), writing sample (for content team), or technical test (for tech team).
3. Interview Round: Faculty Coordinator and Student Leaders conduct a short interview to finalise selections.
4. Orientation Session: New members are introduced to the club’s vision, structure, and responsibilities.

Subscription Fees & Fund Management

• Annual/Monthly Membership Fee: ₹240/₹20 per member (to cover equipment maintenance, promotional activities, and event expenses).
• Event Sponsorships: Seeking sponsors from local businesses or college administration.
• Merchandise Sales: Sell branded club T-shirts, mugs, and stickers for additional funding.

Write Club, part of the Student Activity Committee (SAC) at Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology, is a creative hub for storytellers, poets, and thinkers.
